Post 6 is happy to have Coach Dalton Young back for year two with Post 6! Coach Young will assist manager RJ Prince with the Post 6 Prep this year! Coach Young came to us last year after years of working in baseball as an umpire. Dalton played his high school years in the Gillette Roughriders program from 2009-2012 before playing his final year with the Miles City Outlaws. Coach Young’s passion for the game of baseball started at a young age with his father who coached at the high school level. Dalton followed his Dad’s teams around and fell in love with the game on the bus rides and being in the dugout as a bat boy. Coach Young on what it means to him to be a Sixer: “Being a part of the Post 6 program means everything to me. I’ve gotten a little grief for coming from Gillette, but it’s all been fun and games”. Coach Young got into coaching because he loves the game of baseball and wants to give back to the players. He wants to pass on his knowledge of the game with the hopes that his players will do the same for generations to come. We are very lucky to have Coach Young on staff to work with our Indians squad!
