We are excited to bring Coach Prince home to be The Prep Manager this upcoming 2024 season! This will be Ryan’s 4th year coaching, but his first for the Post 6 program. Coach Prince coached one summer for the Laramie Rangers program, three seasons at Rangely High School in CO as the hitting coach, and one summer as the JV Head Coach for Fort Collins High School under the legendary Tagg Lain. Before Prince got into coaching he was a standout in the Post 6 program where he was a consistent presence in The Sixer lineup during many championship seasons. Coach Prince then went on to play collegiate baseball at Colorado Northwest CC. He decided to step away from playing collegiate baseball when he became a father to his son Thomas, who was later joined by his daughter Miller-Layne! Coach Prince on why he coaches: “The reason I coach is to have an impact on the game and the players. I want to help them grow from young men, to men, and become great citizens in our community. Baseball has been one of the greatest teachers of life.” Coach Prince on what Post 6 means to him: “Post 6 is everything to me. I moved to Cheyenne in 2014 and the first place I felt welcome and part of a family was through Post 6 and my teammates. Post 6 develops lifelong friendships and bonds that last forever. I’m so excited to start this chapter of my coaching career, and come home to The SIX. It’s great to come home to the place I belong.” Coach Prince is supported by his wife Kamryn, his son Thomas, and daughter Miller-Layne. Ryan and his family are expecting one more this upcoming fall! Welcome home Coach Prince!
