Post 6 is lucky to have Coach Carter Mossey return for his 4th year coaching in the program! Coach Mossey will Manage the Post 6 Eagles team, who will represent Post Six at the Wyoming American Legion A level this season. Carter began his coaching career with 2 years as the assistant for the Post 6 Hawks, coaching alongside Manager Brad Barker. Last season he took on a new challenge as the Manager of the Prep. In his first year as a Manager, his Prep team made it to and played in the State Title game. Coach Mossey played for the Sixers from 2014-2017 helping his squads to 3 state titles. After playing for Post 6, Carter played four years of collegiate baseball. Carter played his first two years at Otero Junior College, one year at CCU in the RMAC, and for Saint Clair College in 2020. Coach Mossey also played two summers in Windsor, Ontario for the Saint Clair Green Giants in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. Coach Mossey on what Post 6 means to him: “Post 6 and the community that has been built within the program, has laid the foundation for success. Not just in baseball, but in life. It creates opportunity and brings the best out of everyone who goes through it. I am so thankful I continue to be a part of that, and more importantly, the ability to pass the same values and opportunities on to future sixers. It’s special.” Coach Mossey is supported by his fiancé Lindsay. Coach Mossey and Lindsay are expecting their first little one this summer!Carter said “Lindsay’s support means the absolute world to me. I want to be the best husband and role model for the little girl we have coming in July.” The Post 6 program cannot wait to see what this summer holds for Coach Mossey and the Eagles this upcoming season!
