Kelden played as a full time Sixer for 3 seasons where he was a centerpiece of the infield. Kelden played in 206 games, collecting 173 hits, 24 doubles, 13 triples, and 5 homers. Kelden’s versatility in the lineup allowed him to be the table setter and run producer at varying times. Hastings drove in 137 runs while also scoring 157 runs and being a lifetime 85% base stealer. Kelden also shined in the middle infield finishing with a .930 fielding percentage in 627 chances in the field. His powerful right arm and quick feet helped turn 66 double plays in his 3 seasons. While his career numbers were impressive, what he did in the postseason for #theSIX was a major reason his teams won 3 state titles and a Northwest Regional Runner Up (top 16 in the country). Kelden played in 24 postseason games hitting at a .355 clip, driving in 15 RBI and scoring 30 runs. After Kelden helped Post 6 to a 188-51 record in 3 seasons, he went off to play college baseball. Kelden is in his sophomore season at Northeastern Junior College in Colorado where he is playing infield and helping the squad on the mound as well. We want to wish Kelden good luck as he helps NJC win day in and day out!
