Cayden Guerra has played 5 seasons in the Post 6 program going back to 2019. Cayden set the standard for work ethic and how to be a teammate in a stretch that included a 188-90 record for his squads. Cayden played a roll on the best team in Post 6 history in 2023 during his first full varsity season. That year, Post 6 went 67-17 and won the Wyoming State title, followed by the first Wyoming team to win a Northwest Regional Title. That earned Cayden and his teammates a World Series appearance where they finished in the Final 4 in the country. Cayden pitched a total of 228.1 innings in the Post 6 program racking up 23 wins and striking out 188. He also converted every save opportunity he had in his time with the program. In his one full year with The Sixers squad, Cayden pitched in different roles to help a historic pitching staff navigate the season. Whether it was a spot start or work out of the bullpen, Cayden took the ball and ate innings for The Sixers and helped set the standard in practice and as a teammate. An offensive highlight for Cayden came in 2022 when Post 6 was a little thin for a trip out to western Wyoming. As always, Cayden was ready for his opportunity to help his teammates however he was needed. Cayden got 8 at bats in that stretch and drove in 5 runs to help sweep the weekend. It was highlighted with him blasting a homerun in game 3 of the trip! Cayden graduated in 2023 and is currently in his freshman season at Northeastern Junior College in Colorado. We wish Guerra and his teammates luck this season!
