Class of 2011

Robert "Yogi" Allen - Robert is a Vietnam Veteran who was awarded The Bronze Star. He is a 1968 University of Wyoming graduate. He was a Laramie County Judge from 1977-2005. Yogi was a part of the '50 teams acting as their bat boy. He played for Post 6 from 1963-1964 and was a part of the 1963 State Championship team. Yogi is a lifetime member of the American Legion here in Cheyenne. To this day, Yogi loves to talk baseball with anyone who will listen. Yogi was inducted into the Post 6 Hall of Fame as a part of the Inaugural Class in 2011.

Ron Trowbridge - Ron was inducted as a part of the Inaugural Class in 2011. He played for Post 6 from 1973-1975 and was a part of the State Championship Team in 1974. In 1974 he pitched 93 innings with 150 K's and a 1.89 ERA while winning the state MVP award. He pitched the Regional opener beating Alaska by tossing a 1 hit and 18K performance. Ron continued playing at the University of Wyoming for 4 years as a pitcher, DH, and 1B. His college highlights included a 4-hit win over 5th-ranked San Diego State. Ron is an auditor for the State of Wyoming.

Robert "Bob" Nab - Robert "Bob" Nab was a US Navy veteran ('44-'46) and retired Postal System ('49-'80). Bob played for several Legion teams in Southeast Wyoming in the 40's between his military service. He was heavily involved in the American Legion and Legion Baseball in some form beginning in 1946. Bob was a past American Legion Post 6 Commander and past State Baseball Commissioner for Wyoming. He was a past Post 6 Liason to baseball for 17 years, helping run numerous state and regional tournaments. Additionally, he was very active in other youth activities sponsored by the Legion including Boys State, high school rodeo, and Legion Oratorical contest. Bob passed away on August 12th, 2002.
