Kaden “Sticks” Anderson! Kaden doesn’t know anything but team success when it comes to his time in the Post 6 Program. In his six seasons at varying levels of the program, Kaden’s teams won 6 State Titles. Kaden’s time as a Sixer is legendary! 255 wins to only 68 losses, 4 State Titles, 1 Regional Runner Up, 1 Regional Championship, 1 American Legion World Series appearance, and a Final 4 appearance at The World Series. What makes that run even more impressive is that Kaden caught 1,158 innings as the Post 6 backstop during that stretch. Anderson caught all those innings while only committing 13 errors for an astonishing .993 fld% in 1,544 total chances. If you saw a Post 6 game in the last four years, you probably saw Kaden back behind the plate, and Post 6 winning the game. Offensively during his time for Post 6, Anderson was a lifetime .321 hitter and carried a .442 lifetime on base percentage. Kaden drove in over 100 runs in his career while also scoring over 100 runs. And when you talk about Kaden, the word clutch always seems to come up. Which makes sense when you see that he hit .323 in his postseason career that included 39 postseason games. He helped produce 34 runs in those games as well. In his career at the state tournament he hit .372 with 14 runs created. In regional play he hit .273, but in the two regional tournaments that saw Post 6 playing on the final day, he hit .297. In fact, Kaden played 4 games on the final day of the regional tournament where he carried a .353 average for Regional Championship play. In 2023, Kaden hit .389 while driving in 6 runs and scoring 6 runs to help Post 6 finally get over the hump and win their first ever Regional Championship. Kaden took home the Regional Tournament MVP that year. Kaden has gone on to play collegiate baseball where he is in his sophomore season at the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota. His Post 6 family wants to wish him all the best as he and his teammates focus up on the 2024 season.
