One of the most feared hitters in Post 6 history. Zack Costopoulos was the enforcer in the lineup from 2019-2022 where Post 6 went 239-76. Those teams won a combined 3 State Titles with a Northwest Regional Runner Up Top 16 finish. He also cut his teeth as a Sixer in 2019 playing in 36 games for a Connie Mack World Series qualifying team. Zack played in a total of 257 games for Post 6 in his career hitting at a .321 clip. Though in his last two seasons he held a .404 batting average. Also in his career, Zack blasted 25 homers and drove in 253 RBIs, highlighted by his record setting 110 RBI in 2021. Costopoulos was at his best when his teammates needed him the most. In Zacks postseason career he held a .377 batting average while driving in 24 runs. In 2022 he carried the offense in a run that finished with a Northwest Regional Runner Up. That postseason Zack went 14 for 38 while driving in 13 and blasting 3 big homeruns. His best work came in the 2022 Regional after Post 6 lost a heartbreaking game 2 and played with their backs against the wall. After that loss, Zack went 9 for 15 with 8 RBI. He also blasted 2 homeruns against Idaho Falls on game 1 of Regional Championship Sunday to keep Post 6 alive for a regional title. Costopoulos went on from Post 6 originally to Scottsdale CC before transferring to Colby CC in Kansas. We wish Zack and his Trojan teammates the best of luck!
